Our story

Gibraltar Contracting was founded in 2013 by Mark Bauer with one simple goal: to build homes that stand the test of time. With his entire career spent in the construction industry, and 18 years of experience building homes, Mark brings a well-rounded perspective to every project.

His passion for building science and innovation continues to shape Gibraltar’s commitment to thoughtful design, fine craftsmanship, and long-term durability. Outside of the job site, Mark serves on the board of the Columbia County Builder’s Association and supports initiatives like Build My Future and Parade of Homes, helping shape the future of the industry.
